Twitter has introduced an “Alpha” testing phase for the development of its Twitter app for the Android platform. This will allow interested testers to get in early to provide feedback and collaborate with the Twitter app developers. The Alpha Program is a precursor to the beta phase which was launched in August as the Android Experiment Program. The app testers were organized on a Google Group.
