Earlier this week one of my friends from work stopped me at the water dispenser to tell me that he had something to show me. A few minutes later he handed me his copy of the Kitchen Overlord Illustrated Geek Cookbook by Chris-Rachael Oseland. This hard cover cookbook reads like a comic book with recipes inspired by all our favorite geeky shows and movies like Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s Willow’s Lemon Lavender Bread, Ghostbusters Stay-puft marshmallow heads, Princess Bride Princess Buttercups, Soylent Green Ration crackers, Walking Dead Post-Apocalyptic Dandelion Green & Walnut Pesto and more. With 100 pages of fully illustrated (by Tom Gordon) recipes, this cookbook is perfect for geeks and geeks that like to cook. The recipes are categorized by Breakfast, Mains, Sides, Snacks, Drinks and Desserts, so there should be something for everyone. And even if you don’t enjoy cooking, you’ll love looking at the illustrations. The Kitchen Overlord Illustrated Geek Cookbook is available from Amazon for $20.95. See an example page and recipe after the jump.
