We’ve seen special cases and snap on accessories for iPhones and iPads that improve sound, but this is the first non-battery powered amplifying case that I’ve seen for an Android device. Designed for the Samsung Galaxy S4, the LoudBY Sound Case improves the smartphone’s sound quality using a audio channel groove in the case. The LoudBY is also a protective cover and is available in six colors. This case is priced at 34,90 € which converts to $48.28 US. That’s pricey for a case. But that does include free worldwide shipping. A iPhone 5/5S version of this case is scheduled for availability in July.
